This beautiful and simple survivor of the invention of the modern movie stands as a monument to American, craft, creativity and art. Destroying it removes a powerful statement about our place in the world of creativity and innovation.

I'm a teacher at a nearby school, and can see this out of my classroom window every day. It wouldn't feel right to have it missing!

This smokestack has a small footprint, and doesn't take up that much space. It's an important reminder of the heyday of film production in Brooklyn.

I walk past this place at least once a week, and it reminds me that Midwood has always been more than just its beautiful houses.

A very important monument to film history. Don't make the same blunder Universal studios did by demolishing the oldest standing set in Hollywood. Namely the Paqris Opera set from the 1925 PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
