I grew up in Flemington and feel it would be tragic to destroy this historical building. Our historical buildings are IMPORTANT! These things matter. I don't know why the destruction of this building is being considered considered but there must be a way to save it.

There has to be a way that this hotel can be restored and brought back to its original glory. Our Community and being part of ahunterdon County I would think it would be in the best interests of us all to find a way to do just that

This is a beautiful building in the heart of Main Street that should have the opportunity to be preserved.

It should be restored somehow. Used to work there and have memories of that place.

This historic building should be preserved. We don't need to replace it. We need to keep it.

Save the hotel - it is the history of generations and the foundation of our community, county, and state. There is a surge of destruction across the country to wipe away history and tradition. Time to stop it!

Please save this treasure. Seeing it was one of the reasons I recently traveled to Flemington. It is so much a part of the cities charm

I love the fact that my grandmother could have gone there and then I could stop in too. My grandmother died when I was only 1 year old and that building is a link to her.

Preservation of this National Historic Treasure means so much to me. It's in the history books, worldwide, regarding the Lindberg trial. It's in so many pictured. It has attracted vistitors for decades. Why would you even consider destroying it?

A historical landmark should not be demolished, but preserved. Grants are available, someone has to know how to apply for one to save this structure.

It's an irreplaceable anchor in what could be an otherwise 'another cute town' with nothing outstanding. The inside was something I still miss going to, and bringing out-of-towners to. Now we usually just 'do' Clinton.
