Tearing down a last remaining structure of historical relevance for flemington will be the final death knell. Perhaps the money can go into retrofitting the existing structure and preserve what made flemington great in the past.. Who needs another prefab cookie cutter Main Street .. ?

I'm really sick of seeing things like this torn down! It's like we care nothing about history and it's so easily erased. If it's older than you are you shouldn't be able to tear it down. End of story
I ask that people look around. Do you want your town to be like every other town . Things like the union hotel are what make Flemington. It would be like going to Clinton without the red Mill. Now let's hope that got your attention. When it's gone it's gone and I'm gone. If they let the union hotel get torn down I will no longer shop in Flemington.
The town will of lost its old feeling.
The book will be called the town that disposed of its history

The Heart of my/our town needs to stay! It's more than just a building....it's a place with thousands upon thousands of memories. Including it is the home of ONE....LITTLE....GIRL. Only locals will know what I'm refering to. Save the Union Hotel!

We do not need a "community college" in downtown Flemington. We need old buildings refurbished, new retail and restaurant tenants on Main St, and a MOVIE THEATER!!!

I think it's important to preserve History - and we don't need another Bank, Pharmacy, Walmart, BJs or chain restaurant !
