It is imperative that rural towns are not deprived of a Banking service. People in these towns were equally generous in bailing out Banks as Dublin 4 people were since 2007. Now this is our reward???????

Every town deserves to have a bank. Ulster Bank counter staff are amazing, my family bank there and I am in on their behalf at times. My own bank are not in town and since returning to Clones it is a nuisance having to travel to Monaghan or Cavan to go to the bank. Economically, the bank needs to stay in Clones.

The closure of Ulster Bank will have a huge impact on Clones. To seem people it may be just a service, but when you visit the branch you are greeted by friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. The bank itself attracts many people and business' to the town and I am bitterly disappointed to hear this very sad news.
