I work on the SS Nomadic a similar tender (also Titanics tender) so with the TT Calshots history and especially her war service, so relevant at the moment of course, it's very important that she be saved. We owe her that!

Please save this historic ship - a DDay veteran. For a nation of mariners and the best shipbuilders providing ships all over the world we have lost too many examples of our once world leading craft from the last century.

I went on this in the 1980s to the Aran Islands off the Irish coast. Its an important part of Southampton Heritage. If it was building it would have a preservation order.
