Save The TugBoat Calshot

As an ex Red Funnel deck boy and having recently been on Calshot ,she is a time capsule and must be saved.

Great memories of Calshot as a child when we holidayed on the IOw when i was achild.Hope she can be saved!.

An historic vessel that should be saved. Once gone it is lost for ever.

We must save this ship it is part of Southampton’s heritage so important

I work on the SS Nomadic a similar tender (also Titanics tender) so with the TT Calshots history and especially her war service, so relevant at the moment of course, it's very important that she be saved. We owe her that!

This should be saved as a vital historic reminder of shipping contribution to the war effort.

Please save this historic ship - a DDay veteran. For a nation of mariners and the best shipbuilders providing ships all over the world we have lost too many examples of our once world leading craft from the last century.

I went on this in the 1980s to the Aran Islands off the Irish coast. Its an important part of Southampton Heritage. If it was building it would have a preservation order.

Hope this is listened to.

Southampton needs to wake up to tourist opportunities like Portsmouth

Heritage is so impressive and important!

Please do something positive with this piece of history

Damn shame if this wonderful piece of Southampton Heritage is sent to the scrap yard!

Let’s not lose something else of Southampton’s history. It’s time to sell this city to visitors.
