As a city, we have failed dismally to preserve our maritime history, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, QE2 etc. So it’s about time we try and save what little is left!

Its our heritage - we need to save it.

Can't lose this historic vessel, may never take to the water again but could wasily become a satic museum piece.

We must save her for Future Generations to see & visit. She part of our national Heritage

Important part of Southampton Maritime Heritage.

Find a viable use for this vessel. Southampton has in some ways been very active in conserving and interpreting its history, and furthermore has invested considerable sums in this aim. Surely there must be a role for a tangible element of the history of the port in enhancing the visitor experience of people to sea city or the city more generally?

Tugs are so evocative of the heyday of Southampton port and the liners. Calshot is a superb example and should remain as part of our transport and industrial heritage.

This piece of history needs to be saved

She should be put in a crucial and be kept.

To much heritage is being lost in Southampton to development don't let this be another

We're not doing a very good job of being a proud seafaring city if we can't look after the history that made us such!

This piece of history simply has to saved!!

We as a nation do pretty much nothing to preserve our outstanding maritime heritage, we can't let another piece of history go.
