Save our tugboat

This is an important part of the maritime heritage of Southampton, it’s links to the port, the liners and its wartime service make it worth restoring and keeping for historical interest. QM in California, QE2 in Dubai, most of the other great liners are scrapped or lost. A wake up call is needed before another piece of history is lost.

This tug is a part of the ports history and should be preserved. Once something like this is lost it cannot be replaced. I appreciate that money is always going to be a problem with so many good causes but it would be a great pity to see this part of history scrapped.

This beautiful tug tender needs to be saved, its part of Southampton. Celebrities travelled on it many times. To see it in its full glory again would be lovely.
