I came to know the Caslhot in the 80s in Galway when she served as a ferry for the Aran Islands, named Galway Bay. A beautifull ship! and the I visited some years later in Southampton and had a look at all the work the trust did... SAVE THIS SHIP! It is the last of its kind, it is history!

It's vitally important to save this most historic vessel. Surely someone can donate some funds to save this wonderful vessel.

scandalous... the council should be ashamed of itself...
We are running out of significant historic ships and this one deserves saving.
People need jobs and if the boat is needed leave it.
