The undersigned, being property owners or representatives of property owners on Douglas Drive, Alabaster Township, Iosco County, Michigan request and demand that Consumers Energy cease plans to install commercial high wire on 40 foot poles along Douglas Drive as such an action would be costly to consumers, have a negative effect upon property values,of the residents, greatly detract from the scenery of the road, remove many healthy and beautiful trees, and generally harm the enviorment As one alternative, with likely the same cost, consider underground electrical wires to protect from damage caused by naturally falling trees.

I spent the entire morning walking along Douglas Drive and looking at the trees they want to cut down. It breaks my heart to think of this canopy gone because of these industrial poles. I am currently putting together a formal request for an underground alternative to send over to the company office.

Seeing so many of my neighbors speak up for the trees and the future of Douglas Drive leaves me completely overwhelmed. This momentum confirms that our community will not sit back while our scenery is destroyed by these poles.

40 foot poles are ridiculous. they will kill the look of the whole road and our property value will tank. stop the greed.

Those trees have been there forever. dont cut them down just because its cheaper for the company.

Keep those ugly towers away from our backyards. burying the lines is way smarter and wouldnt ruin the neighborhood views.
