The treehouse should remain. Period. Permission was asked and the city didnt require a permit at that time. It needs to be "grandfathered" by the city asap.

I live in this neighborhood and this tree house is inspiring (and even more so now that I know its backstory!). At Christmas time, they decorate it and we drive by just to admire how lovely it is!

If they don't let her and her children keep this, they are terrible people. Don't rip out someone's everlasting memory of loved ones. Trust me I lost my father to lung cancer three years ago and I would have cherished something just as much! Whoever is the one to take this down please think of what your doing to innocent people before doing so, and how you would feel if this was happening to you!

Dr. Chen was an exceptionally gifted surgeon. I was one of his patients. The treehouse is an aesthetically pleasing addition to the property and in my opinion, a loving tribute to the man. Please show compassion and allow it to remain.

Stop senseless government intrusion into private property. Commercial building? Fine. Inspections to protect the homeowner from poor construction? Fine. Egregious permit fees and rules? NO.
