When I was in elementary school Construction workers building a home nearby donated their time and scrap building materials to make a treehouse for the local kids. It's mind boggling that you now need a $5000 permit--most family's could never afford that.

Let this family keep a piece of their father/husband's memory close to their hearts for goodness sakes!! ...I think theres a lot more serious issues going on in this world today that could use the time and energy that's being spent on haggling this family over their TREE HOUSE!

I don't even live close to this and I think it's a beauty, I've always wanted a treehouse, but the local trees were chopped down and replaced with saplings. :P

Please let them keep the treehouse. Besides the obvious that it is a memorial to a loving father it is beautiful and enhances the beauty of the neighborhood.

This tree house meant alot for this family. dr jack chen was a high school buddy of mine and he was a loving husband that loved his kids and his wife and wanted to do something great for his family. Please keep it up for them. Its the only memorial the kids have for their father.
