We, parents of the Taipei European School, request the CEO of our school Dr. Allan Weston, to take the necessary measures to maintain the Parents Cafe service in the primary campus.
We believe that the presence of the Parents Cafe is an integral part of our school service offering. For the past 3 years it has been supporting and strengthening:
- the European identity and culture of our school with its special offer of European pastries and beverages;
- the Educational Mission of our school by providing healthy and quality snacks to our children (and getting regularly involved in school activities), thus developing the love of eating well;
- the community component of the life of an international school where parents and school’s employees of our 3 sections meet daily, formally and informally, facilitating the integration of new families, developing friendships, allowing informal and relevant communications to flow outside the “boundaries” of each section.
The Parents Cafe is a key player in our school. It creates a huge added value to the school.
We hope to be also key players in our school and are greatly dissatisfied with the lack of communication or consultation regarding this issue. We strongly demand that you find solutions to maintain the Parents Cafe service in the primary campus and show concerns to the community of the school.

For a busy full time working mum like myself, TES Parents Cafe is the only option I have to get some healthy food when I rush to school from home/work for occassional school events and meetings. Please keep it alive! Thank you!
Parents cafe is one of the major parts of TES that we love! It's a sanctuary for us exhausted parents to grab a nice cup of coffee and relax a bit after taking kids to school, catching up with other parents. It plays a major role bonding the TES parents community and an essential hot spot!
The Parents Cafe creates a very convenient & pleasant space to socialize over coffee with other parents & for any school related meetings. I purchase snacks daily for my children and Lutetia supply great food and are very concious of cleanliness & all our requests for our children! Why take away the heart of the school?
Parents cafe is a extraordinary tool for integration of new families within the school and a vector of happiness for moms. Happy moms = happy kids = we stay in TW = the school keeps running!
Please keep the cafe. It will be a pity that our parents who participate so much in school events and activities throughout the year can't really meet in school with a cup of coffee or tea. Parents are part of the school to assist whenever teachers need them and a cafe for us as well as teachers and staff seem reasonable.

TES parents cafe serves convenience for both parents and faculties over the years that we truly appreciate. It'd be a shame to closed down therefore I strongly stand for it's continuation to serve the yes community. Thank you!

Please do not close the parents cafe. Our children needs to get food and drinks after Saturday Football every weekend. Especially during football tournament, it is the only place we can eat/drinks between games...
