It is sad to see the pool virtually empty when the members would be swimming with large numbers. The council has clearly based there demands on incorrect information and their stubbornness is robbing many of participating in a fantastic activity and at the same time costing the rate payers thousands.

I have been swimming at manly ladies and assoc swim club since I could compete in races (age 2) my mum and grandmother before me. My kids now too. Very sad and highlighting the stupidity of council if this ends here

Been a member of the club since I was five years old, I was the first male swimming member which turn Manly Ladies swimming club into Manly Ladies & Associates swimming club. I am shocked at the council for its decisions and trying to destroy a very proud history.

It is hard to believe that a council could be so unsupportive of a community activity like this. Their proposed charges make it economically unviable for these clubs to operate.

So disappointing that half the swim club season is over & this still hasn't been resolved. All the race practice that the kids would usually get leading up to swim carnival, perhaps the Manly Warringah area comps won't be as well represented, how sad for our up & coming competitive athletes. And what a massive revenue loss for the pool with easily 40 families not paying cover charge consistently every Saturday from Oct to March. Big mistake on so many levels. Shame on them.

If the fees are to high I won't be able to send my 4 kids to swimming clubs as cannot afford pool fees as well as club fees each week for 6 of us. It's a shame cause my sons dream is to go to the Olympics for swimming and cost is stopping me to help him achieve it

If the charges are too high my friends will be forced to look elsewhere and they have been patrons of this poll for many years.

Can't swim at manly ladies if the new rates continue. Have 2 children with special needs that like to swim but can't afford it if new rates will apply.
