Closing this will lose valuable costumers as people will not travel to the other nearby target stores. It will not gain you or transfer profit.

I do not want the Suncoast Target store to close but I believe there is nothing that can be done to stop it now. I know how large corporations think and when they need to drastically cut expenses the quickest way to do so is to close locations. I don't believe their story that it is an underperforming store. It always seems busy when I go there and they do a great job at that store. With the thousands of new homes being built within 3 miles of this store it does not take a math whiz to know that their sales and profits would soar quickly over the next several months. Target does not care about that. I believe they have had some financial difficulty over the past year and this store happens to be positioned between the Trinity store (8 miles away) and the Lutz store (7 miles away). These other stores are not convenient for us, the people that live close to the Suncoast Target but corporate does not care about us when they need to correct their profit and loss statement. At least they could be honest with us and tell us the real reason the store is closing. I truly feel abandoned by Target and I am very disappointed about this store closing.

I can't believe that with all the people moving to this area, this store decide to close. Going to another Target is a trip that I won' t be making .

I go to this target every other day. I probably average $850 a month just at Target. I don't know how losing this kind of money, and loosing so many valuable customers to Walmart because of their common sense and coveince to all of their costomers and community, makes good corporate sense to Target.
