It is vitally important to re open what can be reopened.

I'm trying to form a community co-op to re open the bowls centre firstly and buy the gymnasium equipment and move it to other premises and re open these facilities until the Nova and Sun Centre property issues can be sorted. I think both the Nova and Sun Centre Will need extensive renovations and be closed for sometime but re open as leisure centres without pools. DCC is under so much pressure to cut expenses that the proposed new Sun Centre -at £12 million and a £500000 annual subsidy is not affordable and wont proceed . Join me to get some of what has been lost re opened and serving the community. Save what can be saved for your community. My,direct email is. [email protected] Please email me...thanks

More attention should be paid to saving the bowls centre. A unique facility being overshadowed by the other two.

The bowls centre is a unique facility, how shortsighted of the council to aid it's closure instead of promoting it's further potential

I find the council very shortsighted in closing these facilities, it not only deprives the local community of swimming & gym facilities, but reduces the attraction of Rhyl & Prestatyn as a place to bring families for a holiday. It is disgusting that the public are penalised again for lack of good management of these facilities.

Should definitely be kept open! If Rhyl is struggling with tourism now, then taking one of its main attractions away is definatly not going to help!!!

Loved this place as a kid. And as a teenager.

As a child of the 80's the thing I looked forward to all year round was my birthday trip to the Sun Centre. I'd hoped that one day, when I have kids of my own, I too could take them to the place I loved so much myself at their age. I hope I can.
