These properties make Stratford unique. We need to find a sustainable way to keep them in the community. One suggestion would be to adopt it for our Hospice-the grounds provide sufficient space for the addition of an elevator & other accessible features. I am aware of cost associated with this type of decision. But, would it not be wonderful to spend your last days surrounded by beauty & serenity?

Please, please, act! Our children deserve to enjoy the beauty and history we have enjoyed. Let's stop selling out their future environment for profit.

That house is part of the rich history of Stratford, I believe, having grown up there. Part of what brings its magic are the expansive grassy distances between it and its neighbours, holding it high above the streets:

If our city's mandate to preserve our heritage is to be taken seriously, this severance application must not be approved!
