I love the Stoneham zoo !!!

We were live long residents of Melrose before moving to Fl, I remember going there as a child and also bringing our children there as well. I also remember it being closed for sometime and slowly coming back to life. I think it would be a shame to lose or

Absolute shame to even entertain the idea of losing this zoo!!!! Please keep it safely up & running!!!

Please make the right decision and keep this zoo open.

I live in Stoneham. I find the Stone Zoo to be enjoyable and educational. I have fond memories both as a child and a parent from this zoo. It would be very sad to see this disappear. It is our landmark.... Our claim to fame. It is an asset to our community as well. I work in the public sector. When having small talk with my clients and they find out where I am from, most often they come back with, "I've been to that zoo". Except during the very cold months, many people are enjoying this zoo. All of December it is packed with people enjoying the zoo lights, rides and pictures with Santa. Let's not forget camp and classes they offer to children or the many field trips that they host. It would be such a shame to see this go.

Please save the Stone Zoo! It's such a wonderful part of this community!

Keep Stoneham Zoo open, and give them the funds they need to become a valuable asset to our town, as well as Mass! We have beautiful land in Stoneham that is owned and operated by the state. It would be a shame for this and surrounding communities to loose such great assets.

As a local resident, I think it would be a shame to lose this community resource.

The StoneZoo is a staple in our community. Every possible option needs to be exhausted to save this landmark.

We love Stone Zoo!

I grew up visiting the Stone Zoo. I come back "home" and take my kids to the Stone Zoo. It means a lot to the community. Please save it!

As a resident of Stoneham, I am appealing to you to release the capital funding, approved but not released by the Patrick Administration, to support the Stone Zoo. The Stone Zoo is a cultural and economic asset to our community. A loss of accreditation would translate to a major blow to our local economy. Thousands of visitors come to the zoo on an annual basis and, after an enjoyable day, frequent our local business and restaurants. We depend on these visitors to support our recent efforts to revitalize our downtown. I can‘t think of a community who would be more negatively impacted than ours. Further, the Stone Zoo offers educational programming and opportunities that could not be replaced by a text book. I thank you for your consideration of this urgent request.

Please increase needed funding--this is an accessible zoo for many.

I've been going to the Stone Zoo since I was a child, and now that I have a child of my own, I love taking him there to show him the different types of wildlife, a lot of which exist right in our backyard. The Zoo has made many improvements and changes over the years, and it would be a shame if we lost this valuable educational resource.

This is ridiculous, a wonderful institution that has begun a wonderful turnaround and should receive the funding that wa already approved.

Please increase capital funding for the Stone Zoo! Our community deserves to keep this zoo.
