I was born in Stoneham Memorial hospital, I grew up on Parkway Road. The Stone Zoo is part of my life. I visit whenever I can, and am happy I have been able to take my own daughter there. It definitely needs to be saved and needs more funding. To have such a special attraction in Stoneham should no longer be neglected. It is an incredible resource available to both educate through entertainment children and adults alike.

We love the zoo. I went all the time as a kid and now bring my 2 children weekly in the summer. It is close by, nice walking paths and great for the community! Please do the right thing and release the funds!

I enjoy this zoo because it is smaller and less chaotic than the other zoos around. I bring my children and family yearly to the zoo lights and it has become a grand tradition.

I travel from Boston to the Stone Zoo regularly with friends who live nearby. Their children are true fans of the zoo, and we enjoy the zoo and their company. Please save the Stone Zoo!

Fond memories of my childhood. How about selling educational programs and overnight campouts. Bring back the aviary and elephants, the seals, giraffes. Collaborate with other zoos ans how they succeed. Southwicks is fantastic. Maybe they can advise/help.
