The Stone Zoo is very important to Stoneham and the surrounding communities. In addition to being the home for many animals, it provides an amazing educational opportunity and wonderful attraction for people of all ages.

It's difficult to believe that this wonderful community asset has been allowed to decline to such a low level. Please have all required repairs made before the deadline. 110 years old and it is now to be lost? Have you people no sense of history? Have you no shame? It makes me think someone plans to make a lot of money on closing the zoo. More graft and corruption!

Please support the zoo to prevent it from closing. It has been such an important place in Massachusetts and so instrumental in the education of so many children through their amazing programs they have offered through the years. My children have taken part in many of these programs and benefitted greatly. This will be a terrible loss for this community!
