Please dont close zoo! How very sad! Its been a legacy for so many families it this area! !

Please honor the commitment to fund needed repairs and improvements to stone zoo

My parents have been bringing me to the zoo since I was a little girl. One of my first memories was of major the polar bear. Even as an adult in college, I still enjoy going to the Stone zoo with my mom and other family members. Closing the stone zoo would not give me the chance to bring my future children there, and have them experience the same excitement and joy I got out of going to the Stone Zoo.

Please save this zoo. Our children need to learn and appreciate animals. Too many things are disappearing from our past.

I grew up in Stoneham. I grew up with the Stones. We played a lot there as well as my 8 siblings and the 11 stones. I have great childhood memories.There wad an elephant named after my mom Babe and an Orangutan named Betty after Mrs. Stone. I brought my children to the zoo! My son Nolan is now a volunteer there. This is an institution that has proved it worthiness in our community please save our zoo sincerely Helen

Please rethink the closing of this wonderful sanctuary! This is a safe place that our children can enjoy and learn about nature and how to enjoy animals. It is a place my family goes at least monthly to slow down and to spend quality moments together! I did not have such an opportunity when I was a child and I want to make sure my children have lasting special memories at the Stone Zoo. Thank you for hearing our concerns.

Having a local and easily accessible zoo is so important!

We were just there for the first time in many many years with my own children. The zoo has such potential but clearly lacks TLC. It's a great alternative to Rhode Island and fighting inner city Boston traffic and makes for a great quick day trip. Give them the money, make the grounds and exhibits beautiful again, and continue to provide opportunities for local kids and businesses.

The Stone Zoo is so important to our local communities. We love the Stone Zoo.

While I do live in Stoneham, the zoo is a joy, an educational resource and an economic engine for many other local communities as well as a draw for tourists with its location in the Middlesex Fells. I urge you to release funding for repairs and save the Stone Zoo.

please remain open for the sake of the animals and children. I have been going to the Stone zoo for almost 32 years and it's helped my anxiety tremendously. I'm also a member and have bringing my little sister, who fell in love from day 1, please and thank you
