Signature tree for the foothills. Save them at all cost. Would you cut down the trees at the fairgrounds?

Is there a safety reason for cutting them? Why do they want to do that to such a beautiful H.S. stadium? I don't understand the reasoning behind removal of the trees.

I went to this school and played 4 years of football in that stadium. Please don't ruin the uniqueness of our stadium and our memories. Those trees give the norcal atmosphere to the game and is a staple on campus. That's why the stadium is so amazing.

The stadium trees are such an iconic part of the Nevada Union stadium. It is part of what makes the school unique, how we stand out. Nevada Union is a school located in a area surrounded by beautiful pines, and it would seem unnatural for the the pine trees that surround the studium to be removed.
