As a former student, if I wanted to go to a high school with very few trees, I would have gone to Bear River (which I did for awhile and elective transferred to NU halfway through my freshman year). The trees around the football stadium make NU unique. It seems like the new administration is bringing a lot of changes...that's not always bad, but this is one with which I most certainly do not agree!

Unless there is a safety reason behind the decision to cut the trees down, this should not happen. The trees are what make our stadium feel like home for the people who attend games and the players who dedicate so much time to the game.

I'm unclear as to the benefit of cutting down the trees. It would be interesting to find out the "why".

The trees need to stay. It provides shade and wind protection, but most of all it has made Nevada union football field the most beautiful in the league.
