This place is exactly what makes Burleigh the most desirable suburb to live in on the Gold Coast. Closing this venue down due to a lack of creative solutions from the council would be a perfect example of not having the locals best interests at heart.

save this special coffee bar, with the incredible and relaxed vibe. Great fresh food, wonderful service and providing a convenient place to drop in for locals and visitors alike. The gold coast's high rise apartments because it is a popular tourist destination puts pressure on parking, not a small vibrant coffee spot which is the reason people love the coast! Save Burleigh social. Everyone get behind this petition to stop bureaucracy stomping on small business!

I went here while studying abroad and I remember it well! Amazing place. It makes no sense to shut it down. I also work at a restaurant in a community the people of the community embrace it. Shame on those trying to close this.

Amazing place, great spot, I don't understand how this negatively impacts the immediate community.
It'll be a sad loss if this business closes due to this problem.

.. I pay rates .. I want a voice in local issues such as this .. keep it open .. we are social beings .. living on the east coast .. we love our culture here ..

This is ridiculous. Close all the shops then. Build a level car park more funds for council. Don't wreak people's lives or livelihoods. Close the cafes down Currumbin then as there is no parking down there either.

Went here once when travelling but was made to feel like a regular.lovely place, great coffee and food and great people.
