After we save the snipe, could we focus a bit on the Mince ? It's coming up on the holidays when many will be slaughtered for mincemeat pies. It must end !

I confess to participating in a snipe hunt as an 8th grader. I looked and looked through all of the underbrush, followed snipe tracks but alas, never found my prey. When I became educated as to their true plight, I cried at my shame. I now vehemently support their endangered status and will set my sights now upon those who seek to eliminate this majestic creature! #savethesnipe

I remember the snipe bringing me such joy as a child. It is a shame that the children of future generations will miss out on being able to see them in the wild, not to mention the impact on the environment with their loss. Save the snipe!

I’m ashamed to say that when I was a kid my friends and I would go snipe hunting at camp. We took flashlights and empty pillowcases and stood ready to nab them ... I shudder to think I contributed to the near disappearance of this amazing species. I’ve determine to dedicate my life’s work to saving the Snipe!

The snipe has such a huge impact on its environment. It is imperative that we save this species or it will mean the demise of the Liquidambar styraciflua due to the overpopulization of the Pieza rhea. The snipe being the only natural enemy of the pieza rhea helps to keep the balance. Please help save this important insect.

My family had to leave our home near Schwabstedt, Germany in 1962 when an infestation of Minquetøsta mites destroyed the local population of Eastern European Star-bellied Snipe and the town fell into ecological ruination. I know all too well the importance of a balanced ecosystem. Save yourselves, save the North American Snipe!
