Save the Smithsonian's Enid Haupt Garden!

Save this small but important respite for the public and visitors to the Mall!

We are losing green space on the mall, don't destroy this natural beauty

The garden is beautiful and period-appropriate to the Castle building, please leave it as-is!

Special place -- please save it!

Obviously one of the most misguided management initiatives in a city full if them, Preserve the Haupt Garden and put museum expansion elsewhere.

Please don't destroy this garden

This amazing rooftop garden is my favorite place at the Mall, I visit many times during the year -even in the winter, please don't take it away!

The beautiful Haupt Garden was a gift that was certainly intended to be in perpetuity. The idea of destroying is shocking ingratitude and should certainly make potential donors hesitant if they think their gift might be destroyed in a few years.

The Haupt Garden, indeed the entire space between the Sackler and the Museum of African Art is embedded now in the history of the Smithsonian and the Mall. To demolish this is a travesty, a great waste and should be unthinkable.

Please preserve the beautiful End Haupt Garden by the Smithsonian. Thank you.

Not every space needs to be buildings, they themselves must breath.

This garden is a treasured part of the Smithsonian setting. It would be so destructive to remove beauty from this setting. unique in the city today.
