The smell has been a super vibrant part of the LA and West Coast all ages music scene for almost 20 years. Loosing this venue would be a major blow to the positive, inclusive and diverse aray of participants in this art community. I urge the city to take action to prevent the demolition of this cultural resource.

Such an iconic place - the very essence of the expressive struggle of artists. I've personally seen some shows here and can't imagine LA without this awesome venue.

WE WILL NOT GO WITHOUT A FIGHT!!! ✊ How does the city of LA expect our young artists to thrive if we have no place to express ourselves safely? You can only have so many house shows before cops catch on and you're forced to play elsewhere. Spaces like The Smell are that next step. When we let corporations take spaces like this away from us, we inadvertently let our scene fall to pieces before our own eyes. For those who support & have taken part in any Smell events, lets show that we will not let this happen without a fight. We must organize a demonstration to voice solidarity for the place we all know and love. Who's with us? SAVE THE SMELL
