The Smell is my favorite place in Los Angeles. I have gone there for years and always hoped I would be able to for many years after. Please, #SaveTheSmell

Don't do this. This is a cultural institution and of importance to keeping the vital L.A. music scene alive.

if we take parts of what makes this city and state great, what do we have left? we must have pride in our land, history and culture.

Do whatever is possible to save The Smell! You have no idea how much it will help you (and your karma) in the end. Also, it may just bring someone you know or love endless joy, the way this community space welcomes people, including those on the fringes and beyond.

The Smell is an integral part of the very musical culture that puts LA on the map. Losing it would be detrimental to countless people and artistic communities.

The smell is a place where teens go to enjoy themselves and life. How could a parking lot mean more than happiness?

Keep the smell open for the youth, it's a part of the Los Angeles music scene. Might as well be a national heritage site.

The Smell was a beautiful place. A place of freedom, of life and of diversity. Yes, there was times when there were judgmental/rude people, but those were dealt with so quickly. That's the beauty of the smell. And that's why LA needs the smell.
