The Smell is a piece of Los Angeles history. It should be considered a historical landmark because of its role as a hub for underground music in Southern California. Keep live music and artistic venues alive in Los Angeles! Art and music are crucial parts of Los Angeles culture, and give meaning to people's lives.

As an LA native, I have been going to the Smell for over 10 years now, and it has played a big part in my life and in my friends'. It has become a landmark for the LA music scene -- it would be a shame to see it gone. Please save it for the city!

The Smell, is one of the best all ages venue in the world that not only supports local musicians but helps maintain a safe environment for artists to express themselves. Los Angeles, needs The Smell, it's one of the few places that keeps the "all ages" community alive. Many well known musicians have developed their craft here and have shown the world how versatile and awesome our city Los Angeles can be.
