If you destroy the smell you will destroy dreams and hopes for this who plan to one day open their own venue like the smell one day!!! People come here to sometimes escape the trouble at home. Save the smell!!!

Maintain the integrity of DTLA before she turns in to Midtown Manhattan!!! Artists make this area appealing in the first place -- don't remove yet another sanctuary for the Creatives, who turned what was a barren wasteland into a cultural epicenter of the city.

This place, the people that occasionally come here are very friendly & make everyone feel at home. I've seen many races here but inside The Smell we're all One! I'm a 38 yr old Hispanic male & they welcome me like family. I love this place

A friend of mine passed away in May. He told me about this place when we went out last year exploring LA. He said I should come and check it out and for whatever reason this morning I thought about him and this place. I'm pretty sad to see that this place is closing down. I'll help out in any way, reposting and whatnot. What else are you guys doing to save the building?

This would be a huge blight on the Los Angeles art and music cultural scene of the owners of the property decided to bulldoze the Smell and the surrounding historic residents. For once can't someone in Los Angeles do the right thing?!? #SaveTheSmell

The Smell is incredibly important as a performance space to Los Angeles artists. It really is more than just 4 walls and a roof, it is the heart of a community and a launch pad for those exploring new ways of performing and creating music.
