SAVE THE SMELL! This place has been my home and is one of the best venues in LA! They will be killing a part of SO many people's best memories.. Please don't take that away from us.

Just like The Troubadour and The Whisky have been a vital part of LA music history, so is The Smell. All these venues have been crucially important for their particular generations in supplying a place where young unknown bands can cut their teeth and build up a following. It's a place where the kids can socialize face to face and not virtually on the Internet. The Smell is unique and without it, the kids will have nowhere to go and the bands nowhere to play. It's not just a venue that you are destroying.
