We understand that taking ownership of a building with hundreds of residents is a huge job. We appreciate what you've done so far to make this a better place to live. We only ask that our amenities are not stripped from us, especially without rationale. We the residents of 315 on A request that new rules limiting access to the Sky Lounge between 12am and 6am be repealed immediately.
I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way everyone has stepped up to protect our space. This momentum belongs entirely to the residents who spoke up when it felt like our lounge was already lost.

In a month of your ownership, I already have co-workers who have heard negative reviews about your management, and from individuals other than myself. I pay a lot of money to live with very nice people and if I need to work upstairs during less than ideal hours so that my fiance can sleep better in the middle of the night, I plan on doing so.

It's NBA Playoff Season and the best games are played out west, where games don't end until 1AM. Are you gonna kick us out at halftime? Rude.

if we are going to loose amenities it should be a building wide decision and our rent should reflect the changes

I rarely leave work before 12. Having a nice place to relax after work is a wonderful amenity of 315 and one of the reasons I chose to move in. Removing access seems draconian. We're not children who need curfews, we're adults with modern (read untraditional) schedules.

An addition of amenities? Not thinking it's likely. That would make too much sense and cause more people to want to live here.

Are they going to start tucking us in at midnight too to make sure we get to sleep by bedtime?

For a dude that has a second bedroom filled with Chuck-e-Cheese balls and blow up rafts it is ironic you would be arguing that you don't want to be treated like a child. Seriously...it's probably the obnoxious actions from people like you that are ruining it for all of us. I live around the Sky Lounge and it's not used for anything more than partying so whoever wants to read a good book or watch a show at 3am that's bs.
