This in an absolute disgrace shandon street has a large number of old people that use this post office and it has always been a huge part of the community

There a very few original shops locally owned left on the street. It's one of the oldest areas of the city, why force the pensioners to go into town to collect their pensions.

It's a disgrace to close this...the people in the surrounding area are elderly and it's a lifeline for them....most don't drive so Blackpool or North Main st not an option

Save the post office. The government is killing Shandon Street and neglecting the northside as usual. So disrespectful to the elderly in the area.

I worked on Shandon Street for 15 years. Loved popping into the Post Office for a natter. Would be a shame to see it go. It brings business to the other shops in the area.
