I am horrified, use tranquilizer guns and move them when they are sleep, please don't murder them. DIP should be ashamed of themselves.

It is barbaric to shoot these animals, when they can just as easily be moved to somewhere save. I thought a Parish council was just that, from a church parish, and if so they should know that the bible states love for ALL living creatures

The proposed action just sounds like a money saving exercise. Set them free and let's stop developing on animal habitats then moaning when the animals get in the way. They were there first!!

the most humane and practical solution is for whoever says these deer should be murdered is for them to hand in their resignation and let someone who would care for wildlife have the job

What's humane about murdering healthy animals? No wonder there is so much threat of extinction in the world. Just remove the fence and let the deer go. The human race is mind-boggling at times.
