I'm from the class of 2015 and this is sickening to hear you want to change the name of OUR school. Why don't you ask what the alumni want to do with it? This our school name and it's been the pride of all of us.What gives you the right to do it without asking the town to vote on it or ask US the alumni?

I fully support keeping the “Rutland Red Raider” name, and, at the very least, “Rutland Raider” name.
Respectfully submitted,

I am Class of 1999 and think we should keep the mascot and arrowhead. I would rather see more education on Native Americans instead. We should teach what happened, recognize why it is not appropriate today, and reflect on the progress we have made in America to make it more “fair”.
Rutland Raiders all the way!!
Rutland Raiders!
