The Dems/Leftist are out of control with their political correctness nonsense. I have a lot of indian in my heritage, both parents grandparents are from the Indan Nation, and we are proud the Rutland High honors our culture. As a Mounties grad I am proud of our Rutland High heritage.

Raid·er /ˈrādər/
a person who attacks an enemy in the enemy's territory; a marauder
This is the definition of raider. It has nothing to do with Native Americans. I understand the need to remove the old mascot, which happened years ago and remove the arrowhead icon if necessary, but the term raider is not offensive. It’s a strong, forceful name that implies having power. Out on the field, on the basketball court, wherever our sports are being played. It is not a hurtful term.

I haven’t had the best time in Rutland but I would never in my lifetime change anything about it! I think it should stay the same thing as it has since it first opened up! People love that school!
