Raiders has been the name and face of most of the greatest titles in the state, and country, since it’s birth. Don’t change the name because some people are too sensitive to realize the actual symbolic meaning behind the arrowhead. Realize that racism is a very relevant issue in our country, as well as all over the world, but DON’T try to flag a high school mascot as racist when you don’t know the first thing about the meaning of it. Good riddance.

Raiders is not racist. It’s been changed from Red Raiders for that reason years ago! An arrowhead depiction is just that!!!

Born in raised in the great City Of Rutland. Foundations of family with great tradition of great honor to be a raider for our community. That should never change.

As a MSJ football player I was proud to play the Rutland Red Raiders on the football field and can think of no better name that fits their competitive spirit! Keep the name and fight back against the cancel culture ‼️

There are way larger issues in this world to manage. Keep the name, and let’s focus on getting these kids back into the classroom, RAIDERS!!

The leadership, especially student led, is poor and inconsistent. I believe the name and logo honor natives instead of the questionable claim that it overlooks them.
