The raiders name and logo CELEBRATES native Americans. Why is that celebration now considered "racist"?

The Rutland Raiders in no way insults the American Indians, but instead, celebrates them. To change it is Racist

I’ve always thought that naming a team after Indians is an honor.... as they’re strong and powerful. It might be considered to eliminate the word “ red”.
Thank you,
Class of 1962.... former cheerleader who was always proud to represent the Rutland Red Raiders ,

If something as insignificant as a name bothers someone, they should probably be medicated. Shouldn't be allowed to vote either

It just boggles my mind to think that people want to change names of something that's been in our local history for a long time thinking it will resolve all the issues in the world. This just pisses me off.
