The loss of historic architectural design that this “renovation” proposes serves only to increase the shortage of affordable housing for families and multi-person households, which will ultimately exacerbate the overall housing problems in Seattle.

This is history and can never be replaced or recreated. Leave it alone!

I grew up in the Seattle area and always enjoyed the distinctive character of Capitol Hill. As the city has grown less and less affordable, I agree that Seattle needs to build more housing to ease the shortage - but that need not and should not come at the expense of this building, one of the few beautiful things left in the neighborhood.

Please keep this beautiful building as is. This is what makes Seattle great. Please don't be fooled into thinking this is "progress". Seattle, you are better than that. Also, micro apartments are the worst and I would never, ever live in one.

This building is a work of art both inside and out and thus should not be marred in anyway. Let’s all unite to save this beautiful landmark!!

Remaining historical buildings on Capitol Hill like Roy Vue should be preserved and cherished.

Luxury apartments are NOT affordable housing. Stop the eviction of tenants and desecration of historical sites. This is a fight we will win!

This beautiful Roy Vue building needs to be preserved and put on the National Register of Historic Places. The very idea of destroying such irreplaceable architecture and craftsmanship is heartbreaking. Please stop eroding the soul of Seattle’s past.

Friends of current tenants and am absolutely in love with the common garden and artistry. The removal of the build I will be a massive slap to the face of the already fleeting historic charm of the area.

How is destroying this beautiful building a reasonable thing to do!

This living environment meets the needs of these residents both human and avian on many levels. It must be preserved to maintain the integrity of life.

As a frequent visitor to Seattle who has admired the RoyVue I know what a gem this building is. And what a great loss this would be to Seattle. Not mention the loss of my tourist dollars
