The Rocky steps bear a immense cultural value for both Philadelphia, Rocky movie fans and hopeful people amongst them all around the world. Please, do not let them be destroyed.

This is an absolutely horrible idea that seems highly unnecessary! Please reconsider, as these steps mean so much to so many people and one art installation doesn't seem to measure up to that!

The "ROCKY STEPS" are an international treasure to MILLIONS across the world, symbolising the celebration of the human spirit.
Please respect this. ROCKY undoubtedly helps Philly's economy, boosted by tourists like me, who would travel all the way from the UK - just to see the steps - not some eye-sore feature dropped smack bang in the middle of one of the most iconic cherished monuments in film history.
PLEASE don't ruin the advantage of having a tourist attraction that continuously helps to support your economy and PLEASE don't ruin the majesty & magnificence of what the "ROCKY STEPS" stand for. The enduring human spirit.
Everyone around the world knows them as the "ROCKY STEPS" - they are rarely referred to as anything else - so why would you want to strip this icon of it's identity? People flock from around the world to visit this testament to endurance, survival and "Going The Distance" - so why would you want to tamper with that?
We all respect the fact that the steps lead to a beautiful Art museum, that I plan on visiting one day - (But I would never of even heard of it - had it not been for the ROCKY FILMS!). So please see sense and preserve this landmark as best you can, Thank you.
