These steps mean a lot of different things to many people, they are freeing,you run up them because you lost weight, just sign your divorce papers, running for the memory of a love one,and or a personal goal. Some people are shy about the dance they do at the top, some dance like nobody's watching. Regardless of your personal triumph, you celebrate it at these steps. Rocky is an American icon, he's every kid that's been knocked down. Everyone has had a Rocky moment in their life. These steps represent that. Taking part of them down has absolutely no purpose. The city of Philadelphia will always be Rocky's town. These steps are an iconic piece of American history and it would be a shame to lose that, and for what?

I think they should keep them theres no point in taking them down the rocky movies are the bomb so is sylvester and if they do take them down there gonna have a lot of pissed off people

Please don´t make this happend..the Rocky Steps are a very emotional thing fpr the People, not just in Philly..fpr the rest of the world! The Rocky Movies gives many People hope and the Steps is a very important part of that Legacy that ROCKY has given to the World!!
