whoever came up with this idea should be shot. how do you decide to destroy one of the most iconic things in the contry. every time I've been to philly, I've go to those stairs. If it wasn't for those stairs, i wouldn't even waste mu time going to philly. hopfully someone steps in and declaira it a historic site, so they won't be allowed to change them. just look at how many people run up them every day. look art all thw souvenir shops around town. they all have rocky stuff.

Disgraceful. Those are part of your history. It is the biggest tourist attraction besides the Liberty Bell in Philly. BAD MOVE
