This head frame is a huge part of Yellowknife's heritage and what brought so many families here. It would be such a shame to tear down one of Yellowknife's greatest land marks.

It was a fixture in our lives as kids growing up. We could see it from out living window. Im tired of going home to visit and another piece of history has been razed. Save this important part of YK.

Not only is the head frame significant in Yellowknife's history but it also serves as an important marine navigation tool!

Piece of our history, what is Yk without it? Should we condemn city hall building? It's pretty old and outdated too.

Many famly members have worked in the mine and it would be fantastic if it was kept.

I have seen the city of Yellowknife over the last 37 years tear down everything and anything related to the early history of Yellowknife. So I hope they this tone can make a wise decision and keep the head frame that has graced the high line of the city,
