From 2015-2017 we worked tirelessly with the State Historic Preservation Office and the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation (Preservation Connecticut) to save Faculty Row, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, from demolition. By compromise we managed to retain two buildings that were to be restored. Instead of upholding its promise UConn is now seeking to demolish one (likely both) of them for a sterile, generic residence hall. Please help us to retain the last vestiges of Faculty Row for future generations to learn from.
