Save The Regent

What is the reason for the Regent being put up for sale. Apart from the ridiculously overpriced yuppie haven The Swan it is the only pub in the area which has a regular volume of regulars. It is also the bench mark for pensioners on limited incomes. There were about 80 people in on Friday evening. I would venture this is more than the other pubs (Bear/George/ Old Manor etc.) combined. If it is a matter of GP then increase the price of each item by 20p.We'll still be getting greater value than if forced to patronise the other overpriced establishments in town.

I use this pub regularly along with many of my friends and family and have done for many years. It is a hub of the community and a valuable asset to the elderly and others due to its good value. All other pubs in the area are not in financial reach for regular dining of the local OAP's. It has the best range of beers and the closure of this pub will be a huge detriment to the community.

I like the reagent, for elderly people it's a great escape, to meet friends and get food and beer at affordable prices.

Every Town needs an establishment with reasonably priced real Ale and affordable food.

I frequent the regent four times a week approx, it's the most realistically priced venue around, the beer and food is quality, and it will be sorely missed by many people if it closes , KEEP THE REGENT OPEN !

Walton cannot afford to lose yet another local pub, let alone one that has affordable prices. It's not as though it is not well patronised and since opening as a pub I have never known any trouble!

This is a pub I use regularly and I think the beers, food and prices are excellent. It puts competition 'in the shade'. Don't close it Tim!

A proper pub with a good selection of beer serving the locals without the areas predominance of gastro influence and probably only suffers by opening for too long.

Cannot close this pub, it's part of the community and is valuable to the every day who in and around the area who don't want to/can pay the over the top prices charge by other pubs nearby. Very disappointed in Wetherspoons

A proper local pub for all to use.we need this in Walton as higher end boutique pubs don't cater to everyone
