Save the RACQUETBALL courts at Utah Valley University!!

I belong to 3 groups in Salt Lake County that plays racquetball. We are facing the same situation at VASA corporate world will phase out all the courts soon, don't understand the logic on that. Fly high Utah Valley University...

The raquet ball courts is the only court we have here at UVU and people who think that they aren't important don't even pass by this area. A lot of people play plus some faculty. What will the raquetball classes and the weight room classes will do? Where will the raquet ball team will play? I think that they aren't considering the people that use this facility.

The University is being very sneaky about this whole thing and it's not right. They have waited until the end of the semester to tell a few people so when all the students come back in the fall, it will already be gone. Students, faculity, the racquet ball team and even non-UVU students are constantly using the courts.

I agree that the racquetball courts at uvu is a fun activity and sport to have around. Taking the courts away would make students upset.

The NMRA (45+ racquetball group) has been to UVU several times. We were hoping to come back, but it may not be possible without those courts. Please keep them for students and national competitors like the NMRA.

Keep the Courts!!! They're the best for miles around. It will hurt the UVU racquetball program a great deal if they are removed.

Racquetball is one of those sports that develops eye-hand coordination, speed, cardio, and muscle. Unlike treadmills, it is actually fun and entertaining. PLEASE leave them there. It is a lifetime sport for both men and women, easy to learn, a lifetime to master, just like every subject and major on campus.

Save the courts! Racquetball was the best thing for me while I was going through cancer! It saved my life and playing on the UVU racquet ball team for 3 years was a great experience! Don't take that away!

Keep the courts!!! My son would be going to UVU next year for school because they have a racquetball team. My oldest son went to UVU because they had a racquetball team. Find another solution.

The UVU racquetball courts have provided a core need to the youth in the Northern Utah community as well as college students. Thousands of youth and college students have used the facility over the years. Please do not demolish the courts!!! I would be happy to speak with you at any time. Cody Sorensen is the grand-son of the man the Sorensen Center was named after and he is my son-in-law. This amazing man who helped UVU grow and become the great university it is now, would not want to have the courts destroyed!!

I'm a UVU alumni and a former member of UVUSA's executive council. I know that the racquetball courts are a tremendous resource for the student body. In the interest of combatting the commuter campus paradigm that many students maintain concerning our school, please don't take away an on campus destination away from them. please feel free to contact me, thank you.

My last three college credits introduced me to rball, which i now play regularly. Don't follow the ugly trend of turning your courts into other use spaces.
