I’ve vacationed in the Alex Bay Area nearly every year since 1995. A resort would wreck the beauty and complexion of the River.

I vehemently oppose this project. There are literally 1000's of more appropriate islands for a resort of this nature, than in the Summerland group. Areas not near other homeowners who value their peace and quiet. Ask yourself if you'd be ok with a 24 bedroom resort being built right next to your house - I bet the answer is "no".

This is NOT an area that could support such a massive tourist spot. The absolute beauty and tranquility and peace would absolutely positively be disturbed and adversely affected, forever, with no going back. Please do not allow this resort to be approved!

Have enjoyed this area for 20 + years, and the peaceful surroundings are part of what makes it so special. If this type of use is allowed, it will change the character of the area forever. You will never get this toothpaste back in the tube.

I strongly oppose the granting of Resort status for Sport Island. Resort stays should only be granted in a commercial zone.

This is the wrong use for a residential island and the developer has not planned and organized construction and has already violated EPA laws.
