was a lovely pub that all our family enjoyed. Think it's a disgrace that our local pubs are being closed. All these new houses are getting built. But where are people supposed to go to socialise. The Netherton pub which is not far away is rammed packed nearly all the time. The mons which is owned by the same company as the priory is packed all the time. There is obviously still demand for local pubs especially the ones that do food

I agree totally, wholeheartedly and ademantly that this pub should be save. To say it is steeped in history is an understatement. It is steeped in most ALL Litherlanders' histories. Although not a great drinker of alcahol this pub is steeped in MY HISTORY as a meeting place as a young person before heading off to local Litherland clubs i.e. the Whispa and Allinsons. I've attended many a function there, 50ths 21sts, weddings, christenings, to name a few. Please keep it in Litherland. Do not pull it down or change its use

The only local pub left in this area; a real asset to the community as well as being a great building of historic importance - save it!

This is a lovely historic building that is a local landmark and a valuable community asset. So many of Litherland's buildings have closed/been demolished - don't let this happen to The Priory!

Yet another example of an attractive building under threat, and typical underhand tactics by the planning comittee.I would like to meet these characters to ask how many of them are on the take, all of them for certain.

Litherland is nothing but houses. No green space or anything of interest. Let's hang on to at least one nice building, with some history.

The building itself is an attractive landmark in the area it would be a travesty to change it buildings like this will be a thing of the past if it continues. Too much history to destroy.
