Deciding to close this bank branch is a travesty. There are many folks in town who do not have access to technology to be able to bank online. Also, many businesses and the town itself need to make regular cash deposits. Closing this branch will put undue burden on them as well.

This bank branch has been a role model for all banks! The employees are alway kind, helpful, and treat everyone well. My first account I ever had was at this branch.

Small towns are truly the backbone of America. Banking convenience is vital to all residents. It is also nice to see the familar faces of neighbors whether they are employees or spending a minute chatting with someone else while they do their banking. It would be a shame to close such a vital part of this community!

Some residents depend on others for rides and will not be able to go to other towns for banking. Also many residents are elderly. This is very upsetting. I started my account 48 years ago in Prattsburgh. I feel this is a bad move.

I honestly believe that there is enough business to keep this branch open. We were about to open an other account here because of the convenience of this branch. If this branch gets closed we will be closing our other account with M & T and switching to a bank that is convenient for us.
