I grew up in Oregon and worked in Portland for a time. Buildings like this should be preserved and repurposed. Clean up the contaminated land and use the building for good things.

I don't see th beauty in tearing down history. People just keep taking away more and more historical evidence and pretty soon there is going to be nothing left to remember. I believe instead of just tearing something apart so beautiful, people should make an effort for once not to be lazy and destructive. Keep it up for the sake of history.

i think this is anorher one of P-Towns beautiful historical structure's and deserves to be included and registered as a historical landmark. no questions asked. much to beautiful to sit and waste away or worse yet be destroyed at the hands of some Big Wig Developer that has no compassion for preserving the old and the beautiful. i think that people that pass by this spot daily, should be able to admire its beauty for another 100 + years.
