I'm interested in any action that could be taken to tour the inside of this facility. Would it be possible & who to contact to make it happen?

Once it is torn down, the decision cannot be reversed. Us New Yorkers will always remember the travesty of demolishing the original Pennsylvania Train Station.

I was a street kid for years and that place holds a lot of meaning to me and many others every time I drive by It reminds me of where I've been and how far I have traveled and is also one of the only remaining historical landmarks as an icon just like the st.johns bridge to so many of us proud hold on and trudge forward. save this memory

Having moved from N Portland where I grew up, to the UK, I've seen some wonderfully old historic buildings. I always think that in "my" neighborhood, there was nothing (not even residences) that reflect the early history of the village. This is an opportunity to correct that.
